PHIL BLOOM exhibition 3 mei 2008

For a long time now I' m using deers,
antlers, bambies, in my work. After traveling
in Rusia, close by China and Mongoliën, I
went to the north of Lapland and the reindeers
which you can touch very simple. I made a
performance and a video diary.
From the north Lapland (Kamaanan in the
Saami-area), til the Barentsz Sea I only saw
earth and heaven, nothing else than that.
The paintings, drawings, installation and a
video-movie are in this experiance.
The title 'LEMNISCAAT' you can see as a
alway returning cyclus of natur .

Een aaibaar beest is een rendier.

Als een eetbaar beest is een rendier echt
heerlijk. Triest of niet. Ze zijn als koeien
in Europa. Tam en goed om te fokken
omdat ze echt tam te zijn.
Ik heb ze ook aangeraakt.

ALL WAS A TOTAL EMTYNESS

It was so off all to the beginning of nower land.
You brain, you beïng, your birth and the end of this
is all in one there. It is a show of the place of thousand
years thil now is no differance.
That is the "Lemniscaat" .
